Trained with some of the most celebrated portrait photographers of our time. Honed her craft in Los Angeles, California. Has been earning deserved recognition -- and acclaim -- ever since.

Over the past twenty years, Sam's vibrant, heart-filled work has featured in exhibitions, magazines, ad-campaigns and literary journals. In 2010, she won the PDN annual award for her Made in America project, an intuitive take on the idealism of 1950s America, as conveyed through vintage cars, airplanes and the destruction of the Salton Sea.
